Springwater Fishery is set
amongst delightful Ayrshire
farmland in a peaceful location
only 4 miles from Ayr where
fishing is available from 8am
until dusk (latest 10pm), all
year round, weather of course
permitting. You can find the
fishery by taking the A713 from
Ayr and after about three miles
take the B742 to Dalrymple.
This highly acclaimed trout
fishery is stocked daily with
fish brought from the
Springwater rearing ponds. There
is a tackle shop that provides
tackle, snacks and lessons.
Prices are £14 per day with a
limit of 4 fish, £8 for 4 hours
with a limit of 2 fish, £8 for 4
hours catch and release.

Dalvennan Country Sports Fishery
Dalvennan Country Sports Fishery
is situated about 8 miles
southeast of Ayr. Directions are
to take the A713 from Ayr to
Patna then follow signs from
Patna via the hill road to
Kirmichael.
This stocked fishery that is
open all year offers bank
fishing for rainbows, browns and
steelheads.
Prices are £16 per day with a
limit of 4 fish, £8 for 4 hours
with a limit of two fish and £6
for 4 hours catch and release.
The licensed clubhouse serves
hot and cold snacks all day.
Dalvenan also hosts a clay
pigeon shooting range and quad
biking.

Coyle Water Fishery
Coyle Water Fishery is situated
about 5 miles east of Ayr, 1
mile north of Coylton off the
A70.
Prices for this stocked loch are
about £16.00 for 8 hours with a
maximum of four fish, £10 for
four hours with a maximum of two
fish, catch and release
thereafter.
Catch and release only from £7.

Tarbolton Fishery is situated on
the west side of Tarbolton about
7 miles north east of Ayr.
Directions are to take the A719
from the A77 roundabout two
miles north of Ayr and follow
signs for Tarbolton.

3 miles south of Fenwick.
Directions are to take the road
from the south of the village
with signs for Waterside and
travel strait on till you reach
the entrance to Craufurdland
Estate.
This stocked fishery that is

browns and golden trout.
Prices are £14 per day with a
limit of four fish and £8 for 4
hours with a limit of 2 fish.

Haylie Trout Fishery
Haylie Trout fishery is situated
about two miles east of Largs
off the A760 Dalry Road. The
A760 branches off Irvine Road to
the south of Largs centre at the
Haylie Hotel.
This stocked loch that is open
all year offers bank fishing for
rainbows and browns.
Refreshments and tackle are
available.
Prices are £14.50 per day
maximum four fish, £8.00 for
four hours maximum 2 fish, catch
and release thereafter.

Middleton Fishery
Middleton Fishery is situated
about three miles northeast of
Largs. Directions are from
Greenock Road a few hundred
yards north of Largs centre take
Douglas Street; this street
leads to Brisbane Glen Road
where the fishery is situated.
An established Stillwater
fishery of many years.
The 5 acre loch situated in the
Brisbane Glen giving scenic
views of the surrounding
Ayrshire hills. Large numbers of
natural insects and flies make
the loch superb for dry fly and
nymph fishing. Hawks and
Buzzards as well as deer may be
seen at any time all in their
natural habitat. The spring fed
loch makes the water crystal
clear so fish can be seen
feeding readily, making top of
the water fishing excellent.
